Speaking in Codes

Do you and your friends share a secret language or special phrases that you use just amongst yourselves? I have a few—or maybe more than I think. Caroline, Katy and I say, "blow the beans," when we're referring to someone blabbing about something. When someone's a little (or a lot) tipsy, Gal Friday and I would say they're "in the wind." Most of these snippets come from mishmashes of common phrases that one of us tangled up along the way—maybe because we were in the wind—but the point still got across. And then they stuck like glue (that one's no secret).
